Simply Music is the most amazing instructional method I have ever come across.  Mrs. Ashby is a kind, dedicated, patient, and loving teacher.  She has used Simply Music to take my daughter from a self-conscious introvert to a proud blossoming young lady;  eager to show her skills she has that she never even hoped for.  Mrs. Ashby and this method pair up perfectly to deliver so much more than lessons.  My daughter has acquired an amazing skill.  Much more than that, though, she has had a life change occur.  Her personality has bloomed just knowing she is capable of a beautiful artform.  She has a talent she loves and believes in.  I would recommend Mrs. Ashby's studio to anyone but especially children with any learning challenges or self-esteem problems.  Mrs. Ashby and Simply Music are a God-send.

What we love about Simply Music and Mrs. Ashby's studio is the pace, the combination of skills and the pressure-free teaching style that is conducive to my son's learning needs.  He never complains about practicing or coming to lessons.  When friends or family come over, he happily and confidently plays his songs for them.  He has developed a love for all kinds of music and enjoys composing his own stuff but what excites my son the most is the abiility to choose a song he wants to learn and Mrs. Ashby happily teaches it.

I like Simply Music because it is easy to learn new songs.  The focus is on playing songs rather than learning how to play them.  After you have learned a new song, you can learn arrangements of it so that keeps the song fresh.  My family enjoys listening to my playing the piano.  I like helping my little sister play, too.

When I was younger, I took piano lessons the "traditional" way and soon stopped.  Then I found Simply Music and started watching the learn at home videos.  Although I couldn't read music, I was playing some simple but classy songs.  That encouraged me to continue playing.  Now I am still doing Simply Music but taking lessons with Mrs. Ashby.  Along with learning how to play, I am learning different teaching techniques in hopes that I can use them when I teach piano.  I am now learning how to read.  My love for music will never stop thanks to Simply Music.
